Accessibility
What we have done to make this site usable, and where it still falls short.

Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This statement describes where the site stands today rather than where we would like it to be.
What is in place
Pages are built from semantic HTML with one main heading each, so headings and landmarks can be navigated with a screen reader. Everything interactive is reachable and operable from the keyboard, and interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Body text meets AA contrast against its background. Layouts reflow to narrow screens and to 200 per cent zoom without loss of content. Where we animate anything, we honour the reduced-motion setting in your operating system: the works film does not autoplay and the route arrow does not animate when that setting is on.
Known limitations
The works film has no captions or audio description yet. It is silent until you press play, and no information appears only in the film.
Product photography is still being added; until it is, product tiles carry text names rather than pictures. This page will be updated as those gaps close.
Tell us if something blocks you
If any part of this site stops you getting the information you need, write to us through the contact form or the email link in the footer and tell us what happened and what you were using. We will fix it or give you the information another way.
